Our New School Building

Target date for service availablilty: 28 April 2008

 

The new school building is located on Castle Park Road and is now well under construction by McLaughlin and Harvey Ltd.  

 

Our design graphic shows a very exciting building which will be equipped with the most modern equipment and provide every opportunity for our pupils to excel. 

 

Facilities:-

• There will be extensive ICT facilities throughout the school.
• Specialist rooms are provided for Technology, Home Economics, Art, Science and indeed all the practical subjects.
• Physical Education and Sport  facilities include: a much bigger than standard sports hall; a gym; fitness suite and synthetic, grass and all weather pitches.  There  will be  four recording studios and outstandingly good music facilities.
• Corridors will be significantly wider than standard thus enabling easy pupil movement from one classroom to another. There will be two dining rooms and some facilities designated for junior pupils.
• Pupil access will be from Castle Park Road or Castle Street.
