We cater for all students who wish to study in an atmosphere that will give them the best opportunity to prepare for either the world of work or higher education. Each student has a timetable which meets individual needs and requirements.
Sixth Form Calendar of activities 2009/2010
Recreational time is built into the timetable so that friendships, in a positive environment, can be formed by all students.
Supervised Study Room
We try to ensure that each student has the resources and appropriate conditions which can enhance their learning and study techniques.
To encourage good learning habits there are timetabled supervised study periods for all students.
Careers Advice and Guidance is provided for each student through timetabled classes and Careers Advice Officers.
The resources include: a computer suite which is designated for Sixth Form use only, university prospectuses and textbooks from each main area of study.
Common Room and Coffee Bar
It is the intention of the School that each student should have some time to spend informally. ‘Snack Attack’, the Sixth Form coffee bar is open from 9.30 am until 2.30 pm each day.
There is a wide range of products on sale. The hot chocolate and iced fingers are not to be missed!
